It is our intention to be the most celebrated and respected coffee shop in the state of Rhode Island. This will be achieved by strict adherence to minute details of every facet of coffee knowledge, preparation, and customer
service.
It is our intention to remove any possible objection that a customer might have. This will be accomplished by being gracious, courteous, and, above all,
expedient.
With the basic premise of our mission statement at the forefront, we can begin the development of highly respected specialty coffee baristas and customer service professionals.

Our beginnings
From our inception 27+ years ago, I modeled my Cafe after the True European/French Cafe experience! That being said, we always prided the Cafe on Dark Roast Coffee’s and being all about the Espresso/Cappuccino/ Latte side of the beverage component! The atmosphere was always geared towards the “Coffee House Experience” not the drive-thru get 'em in & get 'em out philosophy. Our philosophy is to have a respite from the hectic nature of life’s day to day stresses and challenges. Come on in, sit, relax and enjoy an amazing mug of coffee or an espresso based drink and decompress for a bit with some classical music and “conversation” (which is why there has never been WiFi!).
So, all these years later, we still operate from that same Focus and Mission Statement. Come in and join us for the fun!
